Today with the global market we are all aware of the currencies of different countries in terms of monetary denomination. We often engage in conversations as to which currency holds value in international trade and market. It somewhere showcases the financial strength and market dominance of the nation.

But have we given a thought to what the manner of our communication signifies? It speaks volumes about us and conveys signal to us. Sometimes affirmative…. sometimes not. Our mind is a storehouse of thoughts and emotions. We convey our feelings through words and words are infinite and a vast choice we ought to make but picking them wisely is the basis of good communication and an intriguing conversation. Sometimes the best intention is marred due to the wrong vocabulary in layman’s language. Vocabulary is the picking of the best words just like the farmer or the peasant picking up his ripe crops.

We all know that infants take approximately more than a year to actually start a conversation. But as they say it takes a lifetime to understand what to speak and when to speak. Someone has rightly put that ‘words often spoken out are like the bow released from the arrow’ Here comes the actual use of understanding the usage of words and matching them with the apt situation. For proper vocabulary early steps are always given long term rewards. Parents should infuse the basic yet neglected habits of reading the newspaper, novels daily. Putting the flow of thoughts onto the paper is often the task many times. A sense of coy takes the better of us and sometimes shortage of words as well. Also dictionary reading should be given utmost importance. By finding new words daily we must try and frame different sentences from it for our better understanding too. A person with enriched vocabulary always makes heads turn and people are always inclined towards such people to learn and lend a year at least. A good vocabulary is like a prayer which opens the most difficult locks and becomes easy to open the password.
